Postponing the debate is one thing, having to nix one OF THE FEW to do this.... unacceptable. Having someone on the highest ticket in the land, a heartbeat away from the presidency (Palin) without fully being challenged.... dangerous!
Hearing her say "I'm ready to serve", does not put my mind in a comfotable place, without some sort of test.
If there is no vp debate I believe you will see a tsunami of political sorts.
EVERYONE keeps saying how important this race is and how much is at stake, no matter what is going on.... people have a right to see the entire process to make the most intelligent decision.
If you cannot handle working on the financial crisis and deal with whatever pops up... well maybe it is a reflection of abilities.
I just worry this is a sort of financial "WMD" "Iraq" sort of distraction, misleading people away from calm smart thought. Bush is addicted to causing panic, I'm sure my repub opposition will get fired up over that statement.... bring on the attacks in 5,4,3,2,1......
Hypocrisy
You Dems need to pull your heads out of your asses. You criticize Palin for not being experienced enough for the VICE PRESIDENTIAL role, and yet your PRESIDENTIAL candidate (the one that matters) has less experience than Palin. He was a community organizer, she was on the city council, he was a state senator, she was a mayor, he was a U.S. senator, she was the Governor of the largest state in our country. If anything they are both equally inexperienced--although she can actually claim accomplishments, while Obama didn't pass a single bill that he sponsored as Senator (he is all talk and no action.)
So, to rip her apart and gush over Obama is just plain retarded. You make yourself look like an idiot. I wouldn't say shit like this out loud if you want to appear halfway intelligent.
Halfway intelligent?
Are you setting the bar?
Rant away, sir. The soapbox is yours.
i understand
Hey, I understand the frustration! The stupidity of you Dems is enough to drive anyone to drink and curse!
Speaking of sponsoring
Republican presidential nominee John McCain has not introduced any banking or housing bills in the 110th Congress, while Democratic rival Barack Obama has proposed five.

This was bugging me
I knew the rant was a lie, but I had to look it up:
Obama has sponsored 136 bills since Jan 4, 2005, 2 have become law. This figure does not include bills to which Obama contributed very substantially as cosponsor, such as the Coburn-Obama Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006 or the Lugar-Nunn Cooperative Proliferation Detection, Interdiction Assistance, and Conventional Threat Reduction Act of 2006. They also exclude amendments to other bills, although these in the Senate are not required to be germane to the parent bill and can therefore effectively be bills in their own right. Obama has co-sponsored 619 bills during the same time period.
