Coming off his win in the state Senate District 7 Republican primary, Andy Sanborn said he is looking forward to a general election race against state Sen. Harold Janeway that he said will focus on the issues.
Sanborn (R-Loudoun) described Janeway (D-Webster) as a "nice guy" and said that the general election race won't "go down in the gutter" the way his primary race against Larry Elliott (R-Antrim) did.
"I am obviously really excited about our win tonight," Sanborn said. "It proves that you can have a positive, above board campaign."
Sanborn said that he believes his race against Janeway will be sustentative.
"We really have some fundamental differences on the issues," Sanborn said.
Sanborn said he stands for making government smaller while Janeway "believes in taxes, taxes, taxes."
Janeway, Sanborn said, "voted for every single one of the 22 new taxes that the government instituted in the last cycle."
"People can't afford a government that continues to grow like that," Sanborn added.

Sanborn, should be familiar
Sanborn, should be familiar with the "gutter" statement since that is where he ran his buisness.
Sanborn has no idea what a politican life is all about.
He will not win the general election, very well known Republican will not stand for his bull crap.
Janeway, obvious general election choice
Harold Janeway is a solid person, and a hard working state senator who has demonstrated in his first term both great persistance and creativity in achieving results. Results that reflect compromise when appropriate, results that make the best of difficult situations, results that people can live with. He has drawn on years of business success, as he promised he would, to lend an investor's sense to public decisions. In hard times like these, more than ever (if we care about the future), we need such a person in the state senate. His long service on various non-profit organization boards and projects is further good background on a range of issues which he has usefully applied in the senate.

yeah, janeway's HOLDING THE LINE ON TAXES, right? haahahahahaa
