Tobin bests Dingman in SD-2
By Jeremy P. Jacobs, PolitickerMA.com ReporterState rep. William Tobin has won the Republican primary for state Senate District 2.
According to the New Hampshire Public Radio count, Tobin (R-Sanbornton) leads State Rep. Vernon Dingman (R-Haverhill) 77 percent to 23 percent with 52 percent of precincts reporting.
Tobin will place freshman state Sen. Deb Reynolds in the general election.
