NASHUA -- State Sen. Bob Clegg, candidate in the Republican primary in the 2nd Congressional District, was doing some last minute campaigning in Ward 2, holding campaign signs Tuesday evening.
Clegg (R-Hudson) had been on the road since 6 a.m. making a final push to voters in his district, he said.
“Campaigning has been great,” Clegg said. “We’ve seem to be very confident.”
He and campaign manager Debrah Vanderbeek said they haven’t heard any negative feedback all day.
Earlier in the day, former Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-Ark.) called Clegg to see how the campaign was. Huckabee has supported Clegg during the election. Most recently the campaign launched a radio ad that featured Huckabee praising Clegg on various conservative issues.
“We’ve got the Arkansas vote,” Vanderbeek joked.
Jennifer Horn (R-Nashua), Grant Bosse (R-Hillsboro), Jim Steiner (R-Concord) and Alfred L'Eplattenier (R-Rindge) are also competing in the Republican primary in the 2nd Congressional District.

Horn's Home Ward
Could this be a bit of a swipe at Jennifer Horn as Nashua's Ward 2 is Horn's home ward?
