Stephen wins Manchester by a 2-to-1 margin

MANCHESTER-John Stephen (R-Manchester) carried the largest city in the 1st Congressional District Republican primary.

Stephen was able to garner 62 percent of the vote, with 3319 votes, while former U.S. Rep. Jeb Bradley (R-Wolfeboro) received 35 percent with 1832 votes.

Voting in Manchester was light throughout the day and is viewed as being a critical area for Stephen, who lives in Manchester, if hopes to gain the Republican nomination.
