MANCHESTER--Speaking at a campaign rally for Barack Obama, state Sen. Betsi DeVries (D-Manchester) told the crowd to look toward the next four years when voting next week.
"The question in this election is not are you better off than we were four years ago, I think we all know the answer to that question, the question is will this country be better off four years from now," DeVries said a rally featuring Hillary Clinton.
DeVries also said that John McCain has been distorting Obama's tax plan.
"No matter what Senator McCain says these are the facts, if you make under $250,000 you will not see your taxes increase by a single dime," DeVries said.
The freshman state senator ended her speech by saying, "Let's go out there and give it everything we've got over these next seven days."
