McCain's Recent Comments Have Granite Staters Wondering: How Patriotic is New Hampshire?
How Do We Rank?

At a rally before thousands of supporters yesterday outside of Pittsburgh, McCain said, "I couldn't agree with you more than the fact that western Pennsylvania is the most patriotic, most God-loving, most patriotic part of America, and this is a great part of the country."
"If John McCain is going to travel this country ranking patriotism, I think we're all wondering how he'll rank New Hampshire as he travels the state today. Are we less patriotic in the Granite State than they are in Western Pennsylvania?" asked Colin Van Ostern, Director of the New Hampshire Democratic Coordinated Campaign. Here in New Hampshire we honor our freedoms and fight hard to protect them. These divisive tactics simply won't work in the Granite State."
