CONCORD--Ward 5 in Concord is experiencing low turnout numbers on primary day.
As of noon, 161 voters had voted out of 3,574 registered voters.
"It's light," said Nick Wallner, the election clerk. "The secretary of state predicted a 15 percent turnout and I suspect we'll be along those lines."
Wallner also said that he does not think the weather will play a role in turnout numbers.
"I think you'll find in Concord that it's a more established community and that a lot of people who plan on voting will vote," he said.
